Enjoy The Aroma

Green coffee beans don’t smell of much. The aroma precursors are various forms of carbohydrates, proteins, and acids throughout the roasting process. And what we perceive as flavor is often actually aroma, only mouthfeel and sweet, salty, bitter, and sour tastes are perceived by the tongue.

Coffee only has 20-30 minutes of peak freshness once the beans are ground.

If you want to experience the aromas of your coffee in full, buy freshly roasted coffee frequently and grind the beans right before you brew them.

Chocolate, caramel, almonds, fruits, and flowers are all evoked when we make a pour over or sip from an espresso.
